A small rectangle wooden box with a coin slot at the top and hole underneath for retrieving the donations. The front features the green and gold Burma Star logo and the top has burned in lettering for the Gurkha Benevolent fund.
The Burma Star Association is a British veteran association for those who served in the Burma campaign during World War II. The Gurkha fund supports former Gurkha soldiers and their families.
