A beautiful example of a 20th-century retail shop fitting. Originally used in a haberdashery or clothing store to display jewellery, ribbons, handkerchiefs, ties and other small wares.
This substantial and original cabinet perfectly captures the elegance and practicality of mid century retail displays.
Constructed from wood with a glass display top, the interior is lined in a lovely recent replacement sage green velvet material.
Ideal for collectors of antique shop fittings, retail display furniture, or those seeking a unique showcase for collectibles, jewellery, curiosities or decorative objects.

Condition: Good useable order. Glass in good order with no chips / cracks. The veneered sides have wear and slight bubbles in but does not effect the use of the cabinet (please see second photo). Green lining in lovely order. No key.
