Vintage Set of Michelin Road Maps of France in Antique Leather Travel Case c1950

A set of eight official Pneumonia Michelin regional and route maps of France from the mid 20th Century. Used and collected by motorists travelling through France, the maps are numbered: 60, 61, 64, 65, 67, 68, 71 & 72.
The set also has two French Atlas named "Atlas des routes de France" and "Atlas grandes routes France".
The set comes complete in an antique leather map case - perfect for storing the maps while making travelling with them easy and convenient. The case has a clasp mechanism to keep the maps secure and a fold out leather section on the back which is held with a button - this would have like kept documents, notes, permits, parking tickets and other travel items safe.
A great collectors item for anyone interested in travel memorabilia, French motoring and antique maps. A lovely gift idea or decorative piece showcased as part of a collection.
Dimensions: 26.5cm x 13cm
Condition: Good. Age and use wear to maps as to be expected from use on long road trips! The case is in nice order with typical age related marks and scuffs.
