A wonderful Meccano construction of the Blackpool tower and box. This impressive piece is believed to have been used as a dealer display model, showcasing the creative possibilities of Meccano construction sets.
The tower is constructed from the classic red and green Meccano metal plates and girders, recreating the famous Blackpool landmark. Models such as this were often assembled for shop displays or exhibitions to promote Meccano sets and inspire young builders.
Included with the model is an original Meccano storage box containing lots of spare parts.
