A fantastic vintage late 20th century fairground laughing clown ball throw game, made from moulded fibreglass on wooden base and finished in wonderfully colourful hand-painted detail.
This fairground piece features a large laughing clown face with an open mouth, designed as the target for a traditional ball-throwing game. Ball that successfully make it into the mouth will fall through to the wooden base into a numbered section - Normally a player would have to score over a certain amount to then win a prize.
With its exaggerated expression, bold colours and unmistakable carnival styling, it has masses of character and makes an incredibly eye-catching display piece of the home or retail environment.

Condition: Vintage used condition with age-related marks and scuffs. Comes with a selection of balls but they are almost impossible to get into the mouth as slightly too big - Probably they way the stall holder wanted it to avoid getting winners - If you wanted to play on it for fun, I would recommend getting some smaller balls.
