This vintage Gauge Block Set is a highly practical and collectible instrument set, presented in its original fitted wooden case.
Designed for accurate length measurement and calibration, the set includes a selection of finely machined steel rods and gauge blocks. These components were traditionally used in engineering workshops and machine shops as reference standards for checking and calibrating measuring tools such as micrometers and other precision instruments.
The pieces are all kept in the wooden box, keeping it both well presented and organised.
Certificate of calibration can be found on the inside of the lid. Last tested in 2009 by PowerKut Ltd, Coventry.

Condition: Appear in good condition with no major signs of rust or wear. One empty hole in the box so assume one thing is missing. Box has lots of surface scratches and scuffs.
