Vintage Advertising - Medway Standard Newsagent's Metal Shop Display Board Sign
Late 20th Century
A metal shop display board / rack for the Medway Standard newspaper. Featuring a blue painted metal frame and a wire grid which was designed to hold the daily headline posters or the paper itself.
This would have originally been hung outside a shop or newsagents to display and advertise the days paper to passersby and encourage sales.
The display features a prominent read and white header which reads "Medway Standard" and large "On sale here" written in red against a white background behind the wire grid.
The Medway Standard was a local newspaper based in Chatham, Kent from 1993 - 2011.
A lovely item to add character and unique decor to any setting.
Dimensions: 45cm x 66.5cm
Condition: Good with typical wear from age and use.
