Vintage Advertising - Co-operative Co-op C.W.S Original Promotional Towel c.1950

A lovely collectors item - a C.W.S (Co-operative Wholesale Society) towel rolled up in its original promotional paper wrapped. It was produced and used throughout the mid 20th century as a coupon scheme and was given as a free gift in exchange of 12 soap coupons from C.W.S towel soap, which would have encouraged the purchase and use of the soap.
The towel is a cream / of white colour and is rolled tightly into the paper wrapper. The wrapper featured images in an orange colour with a scroll reading "Labor and wait" along with the writing directly printed on the paper.
A great collectors item, home decor piece or prop for a show or film. A lovely way to add rustic appeal and charm to any space.
