A great set of 6 table place mats manufactured during the mid to late 20th century by Win-El-Ware - a vintage brand of British decorative laminated tabletop items, such as placemats, coasters, and trivets, produced between the 1950s through to the 1970s. This set depicts a series offFamous Old Master paintings with each placement having the El ware branding and Old Master painting name on the back.
These boxed sets are now sought after by collectors of mid-century retro decor and kitchenware - A great set to add a bit of charm to your table setting when having family and friends over for food.
Complete in the original storage box.
Box size is 22.5cm X 17.5cm ---- Place mats are 21.5cm X 16.5cm
Condition - The mats are in very nice order with no wear to the fronts. The felt backs have a couple of stains / marks. Box in good order too with just minor edge wear.
