Vintage 1960s Alfred Meakin Ceramic Kitchen Horlicks Mixer Jug & Lid Kitchenalia

A lovely piece of kitchenalia advertising. This horlicks mixer jug is a great item to add to any collection of antique advertising, ceramics or kitchenalia.
The jug is an off white colour with a blue company advertising mark which reads "Horlicks Mixer".
The jug retains its original metal lid which has a hinged element at the pouring section, allowing the drink to be poured with ease.
The base is stamped Alfred Meakin England, a prominent British pottery company that manufactured high quality ceramics tableware.
The jug would have been distributed throughout the mid 20th century as a promotional item and used within homes and cafes for mixing the iconic malt drink. This would have encouraged sales and embedded the brand into a recognised household name.
A nice decor piece to for country style, rustic kitchens and vintage inspired cafes.
Dimensions: Height 20cm
Condition: Good with no chips or cracks. Crazing. Still has original lid which is quite rare to find with it.
