Rare Ceramic Watcombe Torquay Devon Match Striker Mouse / Mice with Egg

A lovely rare match striker which is in the shape of an egg shelf with no top with mice sitting either side. The figures are sat upon an earthy green base and creates a striking, decorative appeal. 

The piece is designed to hold match sticks in the egg shell, with the striker to light the matches being on the front of the egg shell.

The base underside is marked Watcombe Torquay which is picturesque coastal cove located in Devon, England. 

This is a lovely item which will add character to your home and can either be used as intended, to hold other small items or as a decorative ornament within a cabinet or dresser. Would look great sitting on a fireplace mantel.
