Suitable for either wall hanging or sitting tabletop, the box is made up of 8 small drawers. Each drawer retains their original brass plaques which read different spice and herb names including "Nelken", "Ingwer", "Safran" and more.
The piece can be wall hung by the whole through the carved decorative piece at the top or sit proudly tabletop in a sideboard or dresser.
One of the drawers also has further social history with a label attached inside reading "Julia E. Kuttner American Antiques" showing the drawers are well travelled; being made in Germany, being sold in America at one point and now being in the UK.
