An antique wooden tabletop filing cabinet by Henry Stone & Son, dating to early 20th century.
Constructed from wood with a rich, warm patina, the cabinet features four smoothly sliding drawers (all with original matching brass handles), ideal for documents, letters or small personal items. The size makes it perfect for use on a desk, sideboard or bookshelf.
Henry Stone & Son was a respected British furniture and cabinet-making firm founded in Banbury, Oxfordshire, in 1870. The company became well known for producing high-quality office, library and filing furniture. By the late 19th and early 20th centuries, their work was valued for its practical design, solid construction and craftsmanship.
