Antique Wooden Hand Painted Tabletop Hat Stand / Top Hat Figurine c.1920

A unique and interesting figurine that stands tabletop and brings a huge amount of character to any setting.
Originally, this item would have likely within an entrance porch, hallway or bedroom and been used to hold a cap or bonnet. Its sturdy nature and hand painted detailing makes it both useful and decorative.
The base has two feet painted on, along with different coloured rings. The pole running vertical has been painted to showcase a gentlemen's attire of a waistcoat and the top is modelled to be a gentlemen's face wearing a top hat.
The item is made from solid wood with a lovely aged patina.
This wonderful piece now makes for a decorative accent in a home entrance hall / porch, boot room or dressing area. It's also an ideal collectors item to stand within a cabinet / sideboard or to be displayed in a retail area such as a gentlemans clothing store.
