Antique Wooden & Glass Tabletop Haberdashery Shop Display Cabinet Box c.1950

A tabletop wooden storage unit featuring an upper slanted glass panelled display section and single lower storage drawer. 

The upper section is sectioned into four slots and its contents can be easily seen through the clear glass. The lower drawer is ideal for holding small objects and household treasures. 

The top has a carved decorative backboard which also offers a small space to display small ornaments, stationery objects or collections. 

The lift up hinged lid means the contents to the upper section can easily be accessed. It would have either been used in a home or retail setting, showcasing wares for sale or home items such as sewing cottons, stationery or pantry items.
