A mid 20th century wooden Engineers toolbox.
Four storage drawers all lined with green felt bases. All drawers are of the same length, perfect for storing larger and longer tools, objects and collections.
Matching original handles to all drawers. Drawers all internally lined with green felt.
The toolbox features a standard design with the removable front panel that covers the drawers and is held in place with the working lock.
This toolbox has the original makers mark on the front reading 'Emir London England'. On the top of this box is a further sticker outlining this toolbox was 'Supplied by Brown Brothers Allied Companies' who had buildings in London and Edinburgh. This indicates the toolbox was provided to an employee of Brown Brothers company for their working life to store work tools and equipment.
Comes with working key and lock.
