Antique Amberg’s Patent Filing Cabinet dating from the early 1900s, a superb example of early 20th century office furniture and organisational storage.
Crafted from mahogany and built to withstand the demands of a busy office environment, this filing cabinet reflects the quality and ingenuity associated with the renowned Amberg’s Patent filing system.
The cabinet features two opening front doors, with key and fully functioning lock, which open to reveal an impressive arrangement of sixteen internal drawers. Designed for the efficient storage and organisation of correspondence, documents, invoices and business records. The drawers are labeled as such on their brass plaques on the front. Inside some of the drawers are the original spring mechanisms to securely hold the documents and papers in place.
A wonderful and increasingly scarce example of an original Amberg’s Patent filing cabinet which offers versatile storage while adding character and charm to an interior.
