Antique Wall Hanging Wooden & Ceramic German Spice Cabinet Tabletop Storage Box

A six drawer, 20th century spice cabinet that can be wall hung or tabletop stood.

The six ceramic drawers feature German labelling reading Majoran, Curry, Paprika, Pfeffer, Lorbeer & Gewurz which translate to English Marjoram, Curry, Paprika, Pepper, Bay Leaf & All spice / blend of spices.

The upper cupboard would have originally contained two shelves, but now provides larger open storage space. The ceramic front to the door has ventilation holes, indicating this would have originally held salt and other cooking ingredients that benefited from ventilation and air circulation. The door has the original brass pull handle.

The upper section provides storage and display surface for small treasures and household items.

A great piece to display in a kitchen, cafe or retro style restaurant. Can be used as intended or to store kitchen utensils, ingredients or other small items. Can be wall hung with the fitted, existed brackets or stood tabletop.

Replacement shelves can easily be added inside the cupboard section.
