A lovely Antique Victorian Humidor Chest, beautifully crafted from rich walnut and dating to the late 19th century.
This compact chest of drawers or collectors cabinet was originally designed as a humidor and can either sit tabletop or wall hung with the fitted brackets. Finished in a warm wood grain with a deep, aged patina.
The cabinet features three drawers which have all been divided in half to create versatile, organised storage - ideal for storing cigars, jewellery, keepsakes or other small collectibles.
The drawers all feature the original ornate brass pull handles and the top of the box has the original brass inlay plaque which would have been intended to have the owners initials engraved onto. The cabinet provides secure storage with the working lock and key.
An excellent stylish storage box, perfect for keeping smalls and treasures organised and safe.

Condition: Good useable order. The inset brass plaque on top is scratched. Minor age and use related wear as to be expected. Drawers open and close as they should. Hinges in good order.
