Antique Victorian Papier Mâche Lacquered Storage Box for Glasses / Pens Pencils
Circa 1890
A charming late Victorian pocket or bag sized storage box.
Likely originally made for small reading glasses but could easily be used for your best writing pen.
The box is made from a Papier Mâche type material and then lacquered over the top.
With applied white metal decorative detailing.
The inside lined with purple a felt covering.
Working locking clasp and hinges.
