Antique 19th Century Oak Country House Wooden Letter Post Box / Stationery c1890

Crafted during the late 19th Century, this antique wooden letter post box would look great in any office space or on an entrance hall sideboard.
This hit quality piece features a hinged top with a central postal slot with an aged plaque surround reading 'Letters'. A glass viewing panel at the front allows the owner to quickly see if any post or memos have been delivered and a pull out draw to the base for telegrams.
This examples also features two side storage sections which would have been used for storing and organising letters once received. This will now be perfect for storage of letters, documents and notebooks / pads.
This box also offers a glass covered changeable area on the top to display operating hours of the postal box or to show whom the postal box belongs to - It can easily be changed over so you can add you own personalised message or house name to it.
It offers a charm that is sure to add character to any setting, be it in a stately home or as a distinguished feature in a modern interior.
Please note, this piece does have a lock but there is no key.
