This antique copper ale muller was traditionally used to warm beverages like ale, beer or cider by placing the conical end directly into the fireplace coals.
Crafted from copper with a riveted ebonised wooden handle, it was designed for rapid heating via direct contact with fire. The conical features a shaped top for easily pouring the warmed liquid into a drinking cup.
