Antique Victorian Cast Iron Shop Scales with "Lady of Justice" Porcelain Plate
Victorian or Edwardian era c.1900
A beautiful cast iron scale, likely originally used in a shop, butchers or dairy shop.
The body of the scale is painted a traditional dark green colour and features gold scrollwork and red stripe accents.
The scale has a white ceramic top plate which has a black and white motif depicting scales also known as "Lady of Justice".
The collection also has a set of round stackable imperial weights that sit on the left weighing platform to balance out the other side.
A great collectors or decorative piece to add charm and character to an interior. Perfect for a country style, farmhouse kitchen or in a bakers / cafe.
A lovely piece of kitchenalia. Can be used as intended.
