Antique Railway Enamel Sign Not To Moved On the Original Carriage Mount Bracket
An early 20th century British used railway sign.

This sign would be placed onto a carriage to inform transport crew that this carriage is not to be hooked up and used.
Normally because the carriage is being worked on for repairs and it is likely there will be workers out of sight under the carriage who will be in danger if anyone attempts to move it. The bracket is designed to hook on to the carriage and the sign stick out to the side to allow it be easily seen from the mirror of the leading end or station platform.
The sign is still fitted on the original mounting bracket with chain.
A great collectors piece.
