An antique pair of glasses in what I believe to be the original leather case. The case features a gold embossed stamp reading "Hamblin & Co. Ophthalmic Opticians 55, High St. Chatham".
The leather bound case has a wonderful contrasting deep purple velvet lining inside.
Hamblin & Co. was a prominent British ophthalmic opticians and were renowned for high quality glasses, prosthetic eyes and clinical instruments.
A great collectors item or anyone interested in vintage fashion-wear items.
Case dimensions: 10.5cm x 4cm
Condition: Good. Minor age and use wear as to be expected.
