Antique Pair of Church Used Collection Donation Offering Basket With Oak Handles
An early 20th century church used pair of donation collection basket.
Typically passed around at the end of a service for money to be placed in to raise funds for supporting the church and its organisations. A red / maroon coloured velvet pouch with decorative pattern held in place by two wooden oak handles which would have made it easy to pass them along the pews.
Decorative stitching along the edges of the pouches adds to their charm and character.
Great decorative pieces.
