A pair of antique wooden desktop filing drawer units, ideal for use on a desk, counter or shelf.
The drawers are constructed from stained wood with a warm, rich-toned finish. The drawer fronts are finished in a contrasting dark black textured surface, creating a contrast against the reddish-brown wood casing. Each drawer is fitted with brass handles and label holders, adding a classic office or clerk’s desk feel.
The drawers are well proportioned and designed for organising papers, documents or small items, and they stack neatly as a pair or work well displayed separately.
The top drawer has a makers mark label stuck to the base reading 'Advance The Library Cabinet'. Advance was a British company who manufactured desktop or office filling storage cabinet and drawers in the early 20th century.
