The Parliamentary Recruiting Committee was an official cross-party organisation established in Britain on August 31, 1914, to boost volunteer enlistment for the First World War. They produced over 200 different posters and organised mass recruiting rallies, and distributed explanatory pamphlets.The Recruiting Committee come to an end at the close of 1915 as the UK transitioned toward conscription via the Military Service Act 1916.
Comes complete in an old frame in nice order.
A great piece of history which displays beautifully on the wall as a piece of art.
