A beautiful hand held mirror made from olive wood. Featuring intricate designs and carvings, this mirror is originally from Sorrento, Italy which was well known for specialising in tourist and souvenir woodcrafts during the Grand Tour era.
The mirror is created from olive wood with pierced, openwork carvings along the frame and handle. The back of the mirror shows a beautiful image depicting two flying swallows within a marquetry inlay border.
Perfect for collectors of antique woodenware, Sorrento ware and mirrors. Also a great item to display on a dressing table or within a home / retail setting to use as intended as a handheld mirror.
