Antique Metal Fly Fishing Tackle Storage Box Set by Hardy Bros Mid 20th Century
A collection of varying metal tins used for storing fly fishing equipment / tackle.
One case opens to reveal 6 rows on either sides of hooks where a selection of fishing flies can be found. The other two cases open to provide storage space for other tackle and tools, one of the case has 15 small compartment boxes with hinged lids which were often used for storing dry flies.
All three tins have the makers mark reading "Hardy Bros LTD Makers Alnwick Eng."
A true collector’s piece, it captures the timeless tradition of fly fishing and would have been a cherished accompaniment to a previous user while out fly fishing.
