A wonderful large size microscope slide cabinet which would have been used for storing and displaying a microscope slide collections.
Made from solid wood and featuring a twin opening front doors, this makes a wonderful addition to any collection, study or display.
The cabinet opens to reveal a series of 46 internal pull our tray designed to house 20 microscope slides securely and systematically per tray. Giving it a total capacity of 920 slides.

Condition: All trays in useable order. Wear to the outside of the box from where old decorative moulding / architrave used to be but has been removed. No key. Hinges to doors in good working order. Would originally have been 50 trays but now only 46. The trays are so thin it's not really noticeable.
