Antique Kitchenalia - Working Mid Century Glass J. J Blow Ltd Butter Churn No.20

A J.J. Blow Ltd. glass butter churn with original lid and hand turned gear and wooden paddle whisk.
The glass jar on the bottom is embossed with the words "Blow Butter Churn No.20 Made in England". The lid holds the cast iron mechanism which also reads "Blow". The wooden handle turns the gear which the turns the wooden paddle whisk within the glass jar.
This would have been used within households and shops throughout the mid 20th Century to turn cream in butter - an essential to any kitchen of the time.
A lovely item which will add character and charm to any setting. Would look great in a cottage / rustic style interior kitchen or in a vintage style bakery / cafe. A nice collectable item for anyone interested in antique kitchenalia.
