A lovely collectors item or decorative piece, this antique copper hanging lamp is ideal for adding charm and character to any space.
The wick would be placed in the spout and they were common all along the Atlantic and north-sea coasts, using fish, whale and other kind of oil and grease to create a light that burns a not very wholesome smokey dim light.
The hammered bowl has a pouring spout and hammered texture while the flat handle has decorative cross hatch textured lines.
A nice piece to hang within a country style, rustic kitchen to enhance decor. Would look great hanging next to a stove or in an entrance hallway.
