Antique Hand Painted Watercolour Framed Paintings on Rice / Pith Paper c.1900
19th Century
A striking pair of watercolour paintings on pith / rice paper.
The paintings are presented in lovely dark wooden frames with gilt detail accenting.
Both paintings depict detailed illustrations, one showing a figure in traditional clothing with a hanging piece of decor - the other showing a figure again in traditional clothing holding / balancing a fish.
The paintings have been professional mounted and framed and on the back of the frame is the framing company Kirigiris est. 1980 along with their registered address.
Highly decorative and eye catching, these would look beautiful hung in any interior or as part of a collection.
Dimensions: 23cm x 17.5cm including frame // paper size 10.5cm x 6cm
Condition: In general good order with light discolouration and age wear.
