Antique Hand Embroidered Silk & Mahogany Fire Screen / Glazed Guard / Owl Design
Circa 1900
A late 19th / early 20th century fire screen guard.
The frame is manufactured from high quality mahogany with a carved decorative top plinth.
I believe with a later added decorative finial to the top (could easily be removed).
Behind the glazed screen is a beautiful hand embroiled silk screen.
Depicting tow owls amongst a floral & tree foliage scene.
Lovely neutral colours, perfect to add that antique charm to any home whilst remaining contemporary too.

Condition - Very good.
Minor light surface wear.
Sturdy.
