This antique Clark’s Anchor Cotton cantilever sewing box is a wonderful piece of haberdashery history. Originally used as a shop display, the cantilever design allows the compartments to open with ease, offering both visual appeal and easy access, making it as functional today as it was in its working life.
The glass top lifts up to reveal compartments which house sewing thread and cotton. There are three layers to the cantilever design, in a tiered style. The sides of these read 'Clark's Anchor Stranded Cotton for Embroidery'.
