Antique Gentlemen's Leather Bound Collar Box and Stud Box with Contents c.1920

A gentlemen's leather bound collar box with contents. The collar box is squared shape and has two brace fittings with clasp securers to keep it shut and secure. The top reads "Collars" and has lovely stitch detailing.
Inside are a collection of collars, print labelled with different styles and finishes and a leather bound stud box. The stud box contains several collar studs which were used for attaching the detachable collars to shirts. On the exterior of the box reads "A stud in hand is worth two under the bed".
Used for formal and best wear and ideal when travelling, this would have been a treasured addition to any gentlemen's collection.
A lovely collectors item, display piece, prop in theatre or show or decorative accent in a suit / boutique shop.
