Antique Embossed Brass & Iron Fireside Large Matchbox Holder Mid 20th Century

A floor standing fireside matchbox holder stand featuring an embossed brass sleeve case to hold the large sized matchbox. The brass case is embossed with a lovely ornate Art Nouveau style design and sits upon a tripod design iron feet.
Perfect to stand on a fireplace next to an open or log burning fire and adding some vintage character to the interior.
The piece comes with a box of Union Matches which reads on the box "Made in Brussels Belgium". Still some matches inside.
A lovely collectors item for brass / metalware or an ideal item to add character and charm to any space. Would look great in a home or in a pub / hospitality setting fireside.
