Beautiful early 20th century antique stationery box that dates back to the early 1900s.
The box displays in the most desirable aged wood patina and colour.
On the front and top of the unit is an inlaid boxwood motif and strung inland border detailing all over.
The hinged top and door opens to reveal a small bank of three storage compartments - ideal to tidy away small bits of paper, photos or letters. The box also houses the original glass inkwell along with four metal clips on the door to hold paper making it an ideal writing slope.
A great item to add that antique charm to your old desktop or sideboard.
