Antique Edwardian Tabletop Oak Stationery Cabinet Writing Box with Key c.1910
Circa 1910
This beautiful antique writing box that dates back to the early 1900s and is made out of high-quality solid oak.
The box displays in the most desirable aged patina and colour all over.
The lockable front oak cover flips down to reveal the interior letter storage rack and inkwell
The box is fitted with brass hardware along with a shield shaped plaque to the top and curved plaque plate to the bottom border.
Both the shield and plate have never been monogrammed so could easily still be engraved to personalise the box.
Comes with key, working lock and a nice silk key tassel as pictured.
In general just a superb example of an antique stationery - As useful today as it was 100 years ago.
