Antique Deco Metal Bottle Hip Flask Set in Original Leather Travel Case c.1930
Early to mid 20th Century
A charming travelling spirit set which includes a trio of metal flasks, each retaining its original coloured stopper which helped to identify the contents. Sitting atop the flaks are a cap which acts as a measuring or drinking cup for the liquor.
All the bottles are shaped to fit together and be housed within the original, cylinder shape, leather travel case. The case is secured close with the zip and has a carry handle for shoulder wear.
The base of the bottle is marked with the wording "Tin - Lined. Made in Germany".
The leather case is marked on the bottom with the wording "Real Hide. Made in England".
Designed for carrying spirits or liquor while travelling, hunting, shooting, fishing or attending outdoor sporting events, these compact flask sets were both practical and stylish accessories.
The leather case has a lovely patina and protects the flasks while making the set ideal for display or collection.
