Antique Complete Set in Original Box H. & J. Lampa Glass Crystal Coasters c.1940

A beautiful, complete set of glass crystal coasters. The set contains 12 matching glassware coasters which feature geometric borders and the sunburst (stardust) cut pattern the base. Coasters such as this were often gifted during the mid 20th century as wedding or housewarming gifts and were stored in their original box, used only at special and best occasions.
The coasters are found in their original box, which is designed to exude luxury packaging. The red and cream exterior with the cream fabric lined interior is eye catching and typical of this era. The box has small brass latches to securely keep the box closed.
The interior of the lid is stamped "H. & L. Lampa Haarlem" which was an upscale and well recognised manufacturing company which operated from Haarlem, Netherlands.
A beautiful set to have in your home and use at best occasions. Also a lovely collectors item for anyone interested in glassware, Art Deco or vintage homeware accessories.

Condition: All glass in very good order with no damages. Minor surface scuffs and general light age related wear. Working brass clasps.
