Circa 1900
A charming early 20th century walnut trinket or glove box.
A mixture of early Arts & Crafts design with an Art Nouveau copper motif design overplayed.
Applied over the walnut is a thick pewter covering - Overtop of this is the decorative copper design as seen.
To the hinged cover, inset within the copper design, is a nice quality genuine blue Ruskin Pottery Cabochon (Stamped to the back Ruskin Pottery)
A truly wonderful piece - Perfect for a dressing table / sideboard or simply as a cabinet curio display piece for an Arts & Crafts period collector.
