Antique Art Nouveau Metal Coal Bucket / Scuttle Storage Bin with Handle c.1920

A beautifully designed and highly decorative Antique Art Nouveau coal scuttle, made from pressed metal. This classic piece combines practicality with ornamental charm, originally intended to store coal by the hearth but now equally suited as a stylish interior piece or versatile storage solution.
The scuttle retains its original metal swing handles on the side and handle to the lid. There are 'bolt like' hammered features on the boarder or each panel and 5 'bolt' pieces to create a cross on the side. The inner original bucket is also present and removes completely for cleaning & use.
Its tapered form and sturdy build make it a striking piece for both traditional and eclectic interiors.
Will look great in any setting and particularly by a fireplace. Would look great in a pub or bar by an open fire and a great way to store kindling, small fire logs or coal.
