A great piece of early 20th Century advertising - c.1920
This OXO advertising Barometer and perpetual date calendar is shaped to resemble an iconic beef extract OXO jar. The barometer face can be found on the lower part and reads "OXO for all weathers".Â
Aneroid barometers work without fluid and the metal capsule is sensitive to external air pressure. Internal mechanisms mean the differing pressures move the dial on the clock face to show what weather is predicted. Please note, I do believe it is working but selling it as untested decorative display piece.Â

A great collectors piece, this can either sit countertop or be wall hung. Great for collectors of antique advertising, food advertising or decor pieces.Â

Condition: Old round sticker mark from where something has been stuck on as some point and then removed. Bevelled glass cover has no chips or cracks.Â
