Antique Advertising - Stamina Liverpoo Enamel Metal Dog Water / Food Bowl c.1920
Early 20th century advertising
A lovely collectable item, this Stamina advertising dog bowl has printed black writings along the outside reading "Stamina Liverpool" in capital letters.
It's a lovely piece of history relating to a well recognised dog food production company. Bowls like this were issued as an advertising item to either be given to customers as a gift with purchase or to be displayed out the front of a pet shop with water in for four legged friends to enjoy while promoting the brand. These bowls would have been a regular sighting outside pet shops, grocery shops and convince stores.
Stamina Foods was a British pet food manufacturer founded in Bootle Liverpool. The brand was celebrated for its quality dog biscuits and dry food.
Rare example - More commonly seen are the Spratt's examples so nice see a rarer branded one.
A wonderful collectors item to be added to a display or to add characterful decor to a country style kitchen, farmhouse interior or within a retail space such as an independent pet shop or dog groomers.
