Antique Advertising - Slack &Cox's Gold Medal Table Waters Enamel Tray c.1940

A round advertising enamel tray for Slack & Cox's gold medal table waters which would have been used for serving and carrying drinks in pubs, cafes and restaurants. 

Slack & Cox is a historic mineral water and soft drink manufacturer based in Manchester, England. The drinks manufacturing company was active from the early 20th century through to the late 1950s / 1960s. They were recognised for their production of high quality mineral water, sparkling lemonade, ginger beer, soda and seltzers. 

The tray is in a bold yellow colour with striking contrasting black writing and border. The writing is in an eye catching font and proudly promotes the brand. 

A wonderful collectors item for anyone interested in antique advertising, food and drink memorabilia and enamel pieces. Would also act as a great interior piece in a cafe, man cave or kitchen.
