Antique Advertising Shop Counter Display Stand Fray Bentos Pie Metal Sign 1950s

This vintage Fray Bentos Steak & Kidney Pie shop display stand is a wonderful example of period retail advertising, this piece was originally used in shops to promote and display the iconic canned pies.

Constructed from metal, the counter display rack features a practical 3-tier wire design, allowing multiple tins to be neatly stacked and easily accessed by customers. Its compact tabletop form or floor standing ability made it ideal for shop displays, helping to maximise visibility and encourage sales.

At the top sits the original tin advertising sign, finished in a distinctive half blue, half yellow colour. Boldly printed with “Fray Bentos"  (in white) and "Steak & Kidney Pie” in a dark contrasting colour to the yellow. The sign is instantly eye catching and perfectly captures the branding style of the era.

Both functional and highly decorative, this display stand is ideal for collectors of vintage advertising, kitchenalia or food-related memorabilia.
