Antique Advertising - Rare 1930s / 20s Wall Mirror for Lifebuoy Soap / Sign
Early 20th century
A wonderful advertising wall mirror shaped like a lifebuoy ring, featuring the classic Lifebuoy soap promotional phrase "Am I clean & tidy'.
Launched in 1894 by Lever Brothers in the UK, Lifebuoy was a red carbolic acid soap designed to fight disease during cholera outbreaks. It popularized the term "B.O." for body odor through iconic marketing and transitioned into a modern germ-protection soap used globally today.
The mirror can be easily wall hung and become an excellent feature in a home bathroom, man cave, vintage interior or as part of an advertising collection.
Dimensions: Diameter 45cm
Condition: Good. No chips or cracks to glass. One original wall hanging hook to the back, the other is missing so could do with an alternative adding. Typical age and use related wear as to be expected.
