Featuring original Palethorpes Royal Cambridge Sausage branding and period graphics, the top of the box has wording printed and an outline diagram of sausages. Inside, the lid displayed a beautifully detailed and coloured image. Covering the sides and underneath is further typography and varying statements, all of which add interest and history to the item.
Established in 1852 by Henry Palethorpe, the company became a household name, known for the quality of its products and distinctive advertising.
